For id.new talents, Zweigstelle Berlin presents Mateo Cohen.
Located at the heart of Berlin, close to the Hamburger Bahnhof – Museum für Gegenwart, and not far from Hauptbahnhof/Central Station, "Zweigstelle Berlin" moved into its current location at Lehrter Str. 37, 10557 Berlin in early 2008. Located in the immediate vicinity of Zweigstelle Berlin in addition to the studios of such well-known artists as Katharina Grosse and Karin Sander is a major collection of contemporary art (Ivo Wessel), the office of Sauerbruch Hutton, and the future home of Kaspar König.
Zweigstelle Berlin is hence positioned at a location where fresh cultural synergies are being generated, and one that is bound up with the multifaceted urban texture of Berlin-Moabit. The gallery's program extends from painting, drawing, and photography and all the way to installation works. Solo and group shows will be presented in the bright, spacious gallery that covers 100 m² – a dynamic place for encounters with contemporary art. Some shows will be organized by renowned internationally active curators.
