In my paintings the surface often acts as a notice board, on which I arrange different motives from the every-day in a seemingly random manner. The arrangements are applied to the canvas with different techniques in the style of Robert Rauschenberg’s Combine-Paintings. I design an aesthetic orientated on childish forms of perception and which understands the surface as a possibility for the narrative sequence of single elements, all equally positioned next to each other.
